I was on Bantayan for 3 days in Jan. 2001, mainly in Santa Fe. But in those 3 days I made a friend who will be my friend for life, Jadiel Tendan. He still lives there, and through almost daily emails with him, and now IM, I have gained an even deeper understanding of the island and its people. I have several pictures from my visit, and also several painful stories via Jadiel which I would be happy to share.
