Inquisitive Child

Feb. 4, 2006: Hagnaya Cebu

This day there was the tail end of a typhoon that stirred up the seas from Japan down to Philippines, and it grounded the ferries going & comming from the Island - so I found myself stranded.

While waiting by the pier for the word on the next boat, this charming child came over to where I was sitting, and his Family kept me company for a while (his Mama runs a very small eatery by the pier), and he was simply fascinated by my camera & the waterproof roadcase it travels in...he loved watching me open it to try to see what I had inside.

I shared my candy & gum with him, as his Mama was already preparing his supper...we even played a little air hockey on the table top with some Peso coins - he loved that game.
